Declining Global Poverty: Share of People Living in Extreme Poverty

One of my passion for living is to contribute to ending extreme poverty, directly or indirectly in my own little way. The way I do this is to contribute to the knowledge economy. According to Wikipedia, “knowledge economy” is an economy in which growth is dependent on the quantity, quality, and accessibility of the information available, rather than the means of production. Nigeria is the 103rd Country that Does the Most Good for the World

According to the Good Country Index made by Simon Anholt, Nigeria ranks as the 103rd country that does the most good for the world. The idea of the Good Country Index is pretty simple: to measure what each country on earth contributes to the common good of humanity, and what it takes away. Using a wide range of data from the U.N. and other international organisations, we’ve given each country a balance-sheet to show at a glance whether it’s a net creditor to mankind, a burden on the planet, or something in between.
