Diamond Bank’s Building Entrepreneurs Today (BET) programme, an annual capacity building, and business education project aimed at generating interest in entrepreneurship has begun accepting applications for its fourth season.
Launched in 2010, the programme is designed to train 50 budding entrepreneurs over a period of six months after which the top five entrepreneurs are awarded N3 million grants to grow their businesses.
While previous editions of the BET programme were open to entrepreneurs involved in diverse economic sectors and businesses, the 2014 edition was open to only entrepreneurs involved in Agriculture, Information, and Communication Technology (ICT) and Renewable Energy.
The programme is one of Diamond Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives with partnership from the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University where the entrepreneurs are trained and their businesses nurtured under the BET programme.
To participate, interested applications will need to create and upload a 60 seconds video pitch about their business that is fun, creative or innovative on YouTube, fill the BET online application, including the YouTube link and get all of their friends to vote for the video.
Applications for the programme have already begun and closes July 23, 2015.
