My Birthday Dream: Funded Water Projects in Ethiopia

For my birthday in 2014, I started a campaign on Charity: Water which I wrote about on My Birthday Dream. I asked for at least six dollars ($6) each from everyone I know. The aim was to raise money which will directly fund clean water projects in Ethiopia. Though, I was not looking forward to raise all the funds needed but I believe I could raise a few which will be used as part of the funds for water projects in Ethiopia. Continue reading

#TheExperienceLagos 2014: One God, One Voice

In 2011, my post about ‪#‎TheExperienceLagos‬ 2011 got me a VIP ticket and a seat among the media team for the 2012 edition. That is just one of the physical “experience” I had. And to talk about the spiritual experience, I could not number them. Another edition of #TheExperienceLagos is coming up on December 5th, 2014. Plan to be there and don’t miss it for anything. My Birthday Dream

Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Join me as we fix this #WaterFix #6thNF. Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that. My birthday dream is to be part of the solution to the water-related diseases, help improve sanitation and minimize the number of kids who die from water-related disease. You can help me achieve that.

November is here and my birthday is on the 6th. I’m usually excited about getting older. And as a custom, I want use my birthday to fulfill a dream based on my desire. There are millions of kids around the world that don’t live to see their fifth birthday because they don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. I am very well over the age of 5 and I’m thankful for those who helped. Now it’s my turn to help change that.

I’m asking for just at least six dollars ($6) each from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries in which I grew up in one. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they’ve been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we’ll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

Help me reach my birthday. Please donate to my birthday campaign!

In addition to this, if you donate for this cause, please send the receipt or payment details to me via soji AT adesojiadegbulu DOT com and I’ll send you a copy of my latest mini-book titled “Connecting the DOTS and links on Success” as a free gist.

Thanks as you donate. Go to my Birthday Dream on Charity: Water and click on the green “Donate Now” button to donate

You are valued!

The Girl Effect: This is the Moment to Rally behind Girls

With little over a year until the Millennium Development Goals expire, we have a once in a generation opportunity to drive mass resources to girls. The Girl Effect movement is seizing that opportunity. Since the Girl Declaration launched in October 2013, we have seen an incredible shift occur. In just 9 months, what started as a rallying cry to get girls on the global agenda has turned into something much, much greater. Continue reading

Losing MemoriesThe document on Tobacco Use and Dementia is prepared with the objective to summarize the current evidence on this topic (tobacco use includes smoked tobacco, smokeless tobacco and exposure to second-hand smoke).
