So many people wish that they have good luck but they end up not getting it. This is because good luck doesn’t come through wishes. If it were, we could just sit lazily like a couch potato and expect thing good luck to come on its own accord. I think I like that but I’ll end up waiting and get nothing. If you need good luck, then you need to know how to really access it for your own good.
Before we start mixing things up, I need to define ‘good luck’. It means good fortune, advantage, success, to meet up, to acquire or to become. So, if you need good fortune or any of the definition above, the you need to know how to access good luck so that you can get them. With this, you would be able to get the best out of life.
So here we go…
1. Labour Hard.
You want good luck? Labour hard. Working hard is your first test in accessing good luck. If you keep failing the test, you will keep struggling. Every day is another day to be hardworking. Life does not harbour laziness. Bad luck follows those who are lazy.
The truth is, many people are hard working but have not seen good luck. This is a result of two things. It is either that their level of hardwork has not reached a breaking/tipping point into good luck OR they are not working hard in the right way. There is nothing one can do on the first instance except that the person continues to work hard. On the second instance, it is required to have a good knowledge of what the person is working hard on.
Using the acronym L.U.C.K, people describe luck as labouring under correct knowledge. Until you labour with the right direction, instruction and information, you will keep working hard with nothing to show for it. So, labouring hard must be done with the right direction, instruction and information before anyone can access good luck.
2. Develop Yourself
The best things in life comes to does who learn how to get them. Don’t just work hard with your body (strength), you need to work hard with your soul (mind, intellect, reasoning). It’s time to learn hard. Become a man/woman of learning. Take time to learn and develop yourself always. You need it to continually access good luck. Always make sure that you go a step higher from where you are at the end of every day.
Develop yourself. Develop more skills in line with what you want to become. Develop your mind through learning. Work at becoming a resource person. You will not only draw people’s attention towards you will also keep attracting good luck – good fortune, advantage, success etc.
3. Accept Good Opportunities
The next thing you need to keep doing so as to access good luck is to keep accepting good opportunities. This is because, opportunities comes our way every day. We need to stop overlooking them and start accepting them. Please note, I’m not asking you to be the one doing everything. If you have discovered your reason for living, then make it a point of everyday duty to always accept opportunities that comes your way.
Accept them and before you use the opportunities, make sure you use good resources to verify the authenticity of the opportunity. Do away with bad opportunities and accept more good opportunities. And please note, good opportunities don’t come cheap. They would cost you something – either your strength, your time or your money.
When good opportunities comes your way, make sure you accept them and then use them for your own good. Accepting and fulfilling opportunities will draw you closer to good luck than you ever think possible. All the best as you keep accepting good opportunities.
4. Depend on God
You may think i’m going religious here but it’s just simply reality. We didn’t just find ourselves on earth. There is a God who rules in the affairs of men. Asides labouring hard, developing ourselves and accepting opportunities, we need to seek God’s favour. He is the only one that grants increase. He is the one that gives us the measure of grace we need to access good luck.
Labour hard as if there is no God and depend on God as if there is nothing else to do. What labour will take your a month to achieve, favour will take you less that a day. But it doesn’t come that way. You can’t depend on someone you don’t have a relationship with. As you can’t depend on the president of your nation to meet your daily need, you can’t depend on God is you don’t have any relationship with God.
If you are in a relationship with God, please keep maintaining the relationship and keep growing in it. If you don’t have any relationship with God or your relationship with God is off and on, I’ll advise you to go and find the right way to establish a quality relationship with God immediately after you finish reading this post. And to help you find the right way, you need to know that there is only one God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other God except the Almighty God – the maker of heaven and earth and all that is within it.
