I took a total of 197 Uber rides in a year. This happened in the year 2024. The backstory is, I took a few Uber and Lyft rides in the year 2023. During one of those rides, a thought came into my mind.

What if I keep track of the Uber and Lyft rides I take and see what I will find out? In addition to that, there were other thoughts that came to my mind. Thoughts like asking the Uber and Lyft drivers a few questions. However, I was only able to keep track of my Uber and Lyft rides.

I was able to keep track of my Uber and Lyft rides in a year using one of the features in both Uber and Lyft apps. For the Uber app, you can see your past rides via the “Activity” tab. The full details for each ride is available for a maximum of 24-36 hours. After those hours, you can only see the ride cost, ride time, and the driver’s details (name only). You won’t be able to see the other details I will be sharing in this post.
