2021 was also a difficult year for the cinema industry. Due to the ongoing pandemic, many movie theatres (cinemas) were forced to close for several periods during the year 2021. The closures were one of the measures to prevent the further spread of coronavirus and its variants (e.g., Delta and Omicron). Due to these, as a “low-end” cinephile, I was able to see just nine movies.
