Social Networking sites as well as the internet has come to stay. Whatever you do on the internet needs a social networking. I will say that the main reason why we are online is to perform the word ‘Social’. We are on the internet to learn, relate with people, earn, make a brand image, serve peoples needs, create a product, teach, sponsor, help amongst other numerous things. In the center of all these lies a very important word ‘RELATIONSHIP’. We are all relational beings. We need people. This is why social networking is so important.
The internet is a media and we want to socialize. Social media is a media designed to be disseminated through social interaction, created using highly accessible and scalable publishing techniques. Social media uses Internet and web-based technologies to transform broadcast media monologues (one to many) into social media dialogues (many to many). It supports the democratization of knowledge and information, transforming people from content consumers into content producers.
Social Media and Social Networking site is huge. One good thing is that anybody can make good use of both. There is no restriction. The only restriction is if you don’t want to use both. If you want to use both, then you need to get started, learn as you go and put what you learn into practice.
