Yes you read that clearly. This is not one of the fables you have come across over time. If it is not so, I won’t dare talk about it here. If you still don’t believe that change will happen to Nigeria in 2011, it is better you start now. I don’t want 2011 to come and you will be caught unawares. I once did a post on “Things to Know about Change”. You can take time out to read it and also this post on my mentor’s site. These will serve as a foundation for this post. This is because, until you understand what change is, you won’t make a good of it. We all have to be expectant of change. Change does not come as a whirlwind. It comes as a still small voice. Funny enough, change might even happen and people will not know. So it is expedient for us all to know what change is and how to lay hold on it.
What we see now does not look like what Nigeria will start to become by 2011. We may be experiencing the worst of things. Nigeria may be falling. She might have even gone beyond the point of re-branding. We might also find it difficult to pin-point what we need to do to make Nigeria better. I can go on and on to show you the state of Nigeria at the moment. One thing I am glad about is that, the closest hour to the breaking of the day is the darkest of the night. We are indeed in our night session as a nation. We indeed need to light up Nigeria. That will happen as from 2011.
Before now, I just wanted to watch things happen. I will do doing myself a lot of harm if I do. The changes we desire don’t come on a platter of gold. We all must make it happen. Even though I have read, heard and seen a lot about Change in Nigeria by 2011, I didn’t even want to blog about it. I was just deceiving myself because it is not good keeping quiet when you know the truth. The truths we know are meant to be shared so that we and other people can work with it. This truth came to me as a prophecy on October 14, 2004. I have it written down. Like I said, I just wanted to watch things happen but now I have found out that I don’t have to. The prophecy came to me in a mathematical calculation beyond my reasoning. I was simply hearing and writing it down. This is it:
“The Israelites used 430 years to reach the promise land after they were delivered from Egypt. Nigeria was delivered from her own Egypt on May 29, 1999. Now, 430 years is 430 days in the eyes of God. So, May 29 1999 plus 430 days falls on August 2, 2000. Changing this date to numbers, it is written as thus – 02/08/2000. Adding this numbers together i.e 02+ 08+ 00 = 2010…”
You know the meaning of that already. This is just part of the prophecy. The other part may not be meaningful to you and this post. The above prophecy is what you need to know. Please note, I didn’t have a preconceived idea about this. Neither did I form it myself. Nor was I driving to a point on my own. 2004 is five years ago and I would say I was not smart as I am now then. If you don’t believe this, I beg to say that you are far from the change that will happen in Nigeria in 2011.
In God’s agenda for Nigeria, 2009 is a year of gathering up momentum and raising a critical mass of people with one voice. What officially happened in the US earlier this year, precisely January 20, 2009 is a trigger to what is set to happen in Nigeria. Okay, you ask what happened. The first black president of the United State of America was officially sworn in into the Oval office – the seat of US administration. Though you might say that 2009 is running over, it is not too late to join the revolution that has started already. It is now time for you to join the critical mass of people set to change Nigeria in 2011 and gather up momentum. 2010 will be a year of critical foundation, thorough planning and taking back what is rightfully Nigeria’s.
2010 will be a year of speed. To buttress this point, in 2010, Nigeria will be 50 years on independence. What does that mean to you? If you understand numbers, 50 is a year of jubilee. This signifies a release. Nigeria will be released in into a new order of deliverance. 2010 will somewhat be a year we walk in our wilderness as a nation whose destiny is the promise land. Things might become tough but it is to set apart the patriotic Nigerians from the unpatriotic ones. Only those who are fit to take Nigeria to the next level of development will remain strong. And in 2011, the change we desire will begin to take root on every phase/sector of our great nation. Nigeria will begin to live out the greatness that she truly has.
Just like the Israelites used 430 years instead of 40 days, we might end up that way, God forbid. The only way we won’t is to;
- face this change with all we have,
- believe in the God who will direct our noble cause,
- have faith in the God who will direct our leaders right and help our youths the truth to know
- pray continually for a bloodless revolution
- take positive action to improve the image of the nation
- meet either daily, weekly or monthly with like minds to the development of the nation
- consciously take part in the building of this nation
- provide excellent service and products to teeming people
…and many more. I can’t list everything here. You can take a step further to read my post on Politics in Nigeria to get a picture. Also take another step further and join the revolution which has already started. To do so, go to www.thefuturemovement.org/register to register. Stay tuned also to Light up Nigeria by going to www.lightupnigeria.org and finally, subscribe to this blog in order to get more updates about taking Nigeria to the land of positive changes. Or what do you think? I’ll be expecting a feedback from you as a comment. If you enjoyed this post and you find it valuable, go ahead and share it with friends, tweet it, share it on Facebook, submit it to Digg, stumbleupon, reddit, delicious and other places on the internet.
Till we all come to the fullness on the Nigeria we deserve, I remain patriotic.
Love you still!
