There are over hundreds ways of making money on the internet. There are also over hundreds of scams too. You should be very careful what you invest your time to. You should go for only those online money making methods which are proved to be credible. I came up with this post after I kept getting questions from people on how I make money on the internet. Here is a list of how I make money on the internet.

I have tried these few ones which I have proved to be genuine. If you really want to make money on the internet, I will advise that you should first know what you want and also what you can do. This is because there are lots you will come across but what you want and what you can do will help you make a good judgment. That will lead to increase in the funds you make online. Before you start making money online and create an image for yourself, you need a blog. I pity all those people who tell you that you don’t need a blog or a site to make money online. Let me put it to you this way. Have you ever seen a successful business outside the internet without a location? No matter how small the business is, it must have a location where people can come to. Even if it is a mobile business, you will still have a meeting point for you and your clients. The same goes for a blog or a website. A blog or a website is simply your own internet real estate. Funny enough, you can end up selling your internet real estate (blog or website) to other people after you have made all the money on it. So if you are reading this and you do not have a website or a blog, you go and get one for yourself. If you have a blog, you must also be good at writing quality content. Anyway, you can get people to guest post on your blog. You can also get a freelance writer like me to write posts for your blog. I recommend the following methods for making money on the internet as a blogger.

1. Publish ads in your blog.

Publishing ads in your blogs is the most popular way of making money online. There are many sites that offer contextual as well as non contextual ads. There are the prominent ones and there are many other small players like too. The earnings you make vary from a few cents to a few dollars few dollars per click. There are the many ads you can invest your time with that will fetch you cool money on the internet. I have some of them on my blog posts, sidebars and pages. You will have seen some of them already. 2. Write sponsored reviews in your blog.

You can write reviews about a product, a service, a website, software, a book, a seminar or a company in your blog. The advertiser will pay you for the review based on your blog popularity and how much you demand for the reviews. You can get the review offers either by registering on various sites that get you advertisers or ask people to contact you if they want you to review their sites/blog. You should learn to do things for free at first. Doing things for free will help you get more reviews. And doing so will help you get to do paid reviews. I do free reviews and paid reviews. 3. Publishing articles on sites.

You can make money also by publishing your articles either on article submission sites or article directories. There are so many of them. You either get paid for the articles you submit or you get paid for the products/services you review or sell. The site will review your article and you will be paid based on a number of factors such as page views, click on ads they display, a percentage of clicks on your own contextual ads. 4. Write on news sites

If you are interested in news and events and you also follow news regularly, you can make money by writing news for various news directory sites – newspapers, magazines, news blog etc. You don’t necessary have to work for them. You do this as a freelance writer. You start by contacting whoever you need to contact. From there on, you submit a sample of your news. Make sure it’s not what you copied somewhere. You get paid based on the number of votes your article gets. Some even pays your per news article that they get approved.

5. Be a distributor or sell people’s product or services

Many sites are there who offer money on the internet for marketing their products or services, getting people to fill their forms online etc. The money they are meant to spend on advertisement, they give it to people who can help them distribute or market well. You get paid for every lead or sale you make through you. This method is referred to as affiliates, referrals etc. You get a product you like and that you can use, you make money as a member, you recommend it to people and you get more money on the internet.

6. Sell your own products and/or services

One very good way to make money online is to sell your own products. These products do not have to be the one you create. You can purchase a bulk of the products and sell on your blog. You will make money everyday doing that. You can package information products teaching people how to do things, you sell it on your blog and you get people to buy. Let this product and/or service be unique to who you are. I am packaging my own products but presently I make money online selling my services – teaching people what I know, web designing and development, freelance services and consultancy services.

7. Develop an image online.

People don’t but from ghost. They do not buy from just anybody. They buy either from the people they know or the people they have found credible. People buy from those they know that can solve their problems. Develop a strong presence online known for solving people’s problem. Join social networking sites. There are many of them you can join to develop a strong presence online. I will advise you first join facebook and twitter, from there you get to join more based on what you want and what you can do.
