I don’t like going on break for over a week without posting anything on my blog. This is the situation I have found myself in for some weeks back. I try to post at least one post to keep this blog rolling. Anyway, I am not experiencing writers block. How can I, when my passion is in writing. I just took time out to read more.

Bloggers are voracious readers! We read in order to keep abreast of information so as not to be outdated. In the past weeks, I read over 200 pages of information daily through my Sharp Reader. You can download it here and ask me how to use it if you can’t find your way through it. My blog was also hacked and apart from that, i couldn’t log in into my admin and also, i had to upgrade my platform. Thanks to Anu Oluwadare of Generis Solutions and NairaHost who helped out on the server side. I am also putting finishing touches to it.

Today, I have come to share with you some of the websites/weblogs and web applications for bloggers and web developers that I came across in the course of the weeks. Please bear with me, this post is long so i have divided into two or three posts. Don’t be afraid to check them out, they are free to use and there is no affiliate links with all these. Twhirl 0.8.6 (1.6 MB) is a social software desktop client based on the Adobe AIR platform that connects to multiple micro-blog sites (Twitter, laconi.ca, identi.ca, Friendfeed and Seesmic), displays message posts, shortens long URLs, searches tweets, posts images to TwitPic, etc. Freeware for Windows 2000/ XP/ Vista and Mac OSX.
