As year 2009 draws to a close, many are already counting cost and updating records to see how far they have gone in 2009. Many have achieved their goals while many are still hoping to achieve their goals. In this same instance, many have been celebrated for the contribution they brought to their street, home, village, state, region, nation and the world at large. Out of these numerous people comes the CNN Hero of the year. I won’t want to talk about what CNN Hero of the year means. Out of the numerous people who had potentials to be the 2009 CNN Hero of the year came a young man (28 year old). He is called Efren Penaflorida. He is a Filipino teacher who is well-known for his advocacy to educate Filipino out-of-school youth through “pushcart classes”. You can read more about him here: 
I’ve been following the CNN Hero of the year for a while. I was inspired by all the nominees. I must say all of them merit the award as the CNN Hero of the year 2009. Anyway, their will always be one winner. I need you to watch the video below in order to get inspired to do that good you have to do. Your people are waiting eagerly to see you shine. You might not end up being the CNN Hero of the year but you can become an hero to the people around you just by being there for them when they need you. You can be a hero just by living your life to positively influence others.

I am a hero in my little way and i can be a better hero. I live to make others live on the best side of life. Every little good acts we do count a great deal to the next person beside you. I hope this has inspired you to live that good life you have always imagined. It is VERY possible only if you will start (or start again) now. Show the love. Help someone. Give a helping hand. Give a cheerful smile. Do that good thing which you need to do and become the Hero the world celebrates…
